Loy Yang
power workers donate $10,300 to G.A.R.D.S INC.

GARDS was lucky enough to be one of 3 recipients chosen by workers at
Loy Yang Power for the Safety Awareness Scheme during the Unit 2 Outage which
has been operating throughout September, 2003. GARDS was very honoured that
the workers at Loy Yang felt they were an organisation worthy of their support.
Loy Yang Power, Silcar and Alstom made approximately $30,000 available for the
Safety Awareness Scheme and this money was shared between three organisations.
GARDS was also invited to set a display up of our organisation in the foyer of Loy Yang Power administration building. This display was there for 6 weeks during the outage. GARDS committee of management and members want to thank all those people at Loy Yang who supported our nomination for this most wonderful donation
.
