Import Penalties Need To Be Strong & Enforced

Minister Dutton needs to give this issue high priority. Penalties need to be strong and enforced, lets get real about this. Minister Dutton you need to give this the same attention as shipments of illegal drugs get at the border. We will have wave after wave of asbestos disease if this problem of asbestos imports is not dealt with at our border. People in the community think that asbestos in products is a thing of the past – it is not! – it is real and happening now! Come on Australian Government get your head out of the sand and start managing this very real carcinogen for the sake of future generations of Australians. : (
