Asbestos & Silica Awareness Gippsland TAFE Newborough Campus Carpentry March 2025

#asbestos #silicdust #awareness – On Wednesday 19th March ACV/GARDS reps attended TAFE Gippsland Newborough campus and spoke to 20+ carpentry apprentices about asbestos and silica – we were lucky to have Joanna Mcneill Silicosis advocate with us – the session saw the apprentices asking many questions and teachers joining in. It was great to have good interaction and we wish the apprentices all the best in their chosen trade – we hope the info provided helps them in their future professional and personal life : )
