Federation Training Newborough Asbestos Aware 2018

Recently ACV/GARDS crew did an asbestos awareness session to 160 apprentices at Federation Training Newborough – Boiler makers, mechanics, civil engineering, painting & decorating, carpentry etc. Great session – good questions from the apprentices and their trade teachers  – the apprentices left the room with a better understanding of where asbestos can be found in their work places and in their home environment. They now know asbestos is not a thing of the past but something they will have to deal with for the rest of their lives and make sure that they are cautious with what ever task they undertake – that they take every precaution to not allow themselves to be exposed to asbestos.  Thanks goes to their trades teachers for also being a part of the session and contributing their knowledge and experience to the session.
