GTLC May Day Dinner 2026

1/5 – saw the ACV/GARDS team at the GTLC May Day dinner at the @morwell RSL guest speaker was Dave Sweeney AM, ICAN Nobel Peace Prize Winner – Hearing from Dimity and Dave from International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) was a powerful reminder of everyone’s duty when it comes to nuclear – pictured here with our sponsors for the table are the Maurice Blackburn Lawyers crew and us – plenty of chatter and exchanging information happened around the tables on the night Congrats to Burt Blackburne for winning the John Parker community activism award on the night – our own Vicki Hamilton won this award a few years ago and it is great to see community activism being recognized.
