The Gordon TAFE Geelong

The ACV/GARDS crew travelled to Geelong on the 12th July for an overnight visit. We conducted an asbestos awareness tute to apprentices at The Gordon TAFE East Geelong on the 13th July. What a great bunch the 3rd year apprentice Painting and Decorating class was, along with their Trade teachers Alf and Dean, who also joined in on the session.
There was much discussion around asbestos in all its forms and the apprentices and the trade teachers said they learned so much. That is what it is all about – making people aware and we certainly did the job that was asked of us.
Thank you for the wonderful greeting we got and for being such a great class. We enjoyed meeting all of them and being able to have the opportunity to have those conversations about all things asbestos.
