New consensus based Australian Clinical Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Pleural Mesothelioma

#asbestos #mesothelioma #collaboration #addri – Vicki was privileged & honoured to be invited onto this wonderful team & looking forward to the result of all of us working together to produce the next guidelines going forward – ADDRI has assembled a national team of the world’s leading mesothelioma experts to write the New consensus based Australian Clinical Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Pleural Mesothelioma. The last guidelines were published in 2013 and a lot has changed. Chair Professor Sonja Klebe and ADDRI Academic and Research Director Dr Anthony Linton will lead the development of this updated document to bring the latest organisation and evidence-based approaches to the diagnostic assessment process for pleural mesothelioma, and to enable tailored treatments for patients. The incredible first workshop was held at ADDRI on Monday – thank you all.
